Recently I purchased a bottle of Meguiar's APC, and a bottle of APC+.
I never had any experience with both of these products, but decided to give them a try on dirty carpet. I diluted both of them 1:10. It worked very well, a lot of cleaning power. The only difference between the two is APC+ does not foam, which makes carpet cleaning even easier. I used a red brush I purchased form Autogeek a long time ago, and some terry towels (I still prefer terry towels when cleaning carpet).

All I wanted to do was just to test the product, to see how it works. ;)

Instead of blotting with a towel after scrubbing, do you think a good wet vac would of done a good job as well? Maybe better?

Yes, I thought of that only when it was done. Oh, well. After all, it was a test spot.
