I have DP waterless and I love it. It good for maintenance cleaning. Waterless only works if the car is not filthy. Get a good MF and your good to go.

This was after this car had not been washed for three months and driven through this terrible Northeastern winter........there are swirls but remember that this car has alos been hit with a snow brush at least ten times throughout these months. Still looks pretty darn good if you ask me and this was done with a waterless wash.

As you can see, the paint is in need of a bit of TLC including a good claying but considering the abuse this car has taken along with the waterless wash I used, the paint should be beat beyond recognition according to popular opinion. Waterless washing is the way of the near future.

It should not be used as an alternative to a conventional wash. A good waterless wash is an excellent tool but not an alternative to a conventional wash.

:iagree::iagree::iagree:If the vehicle is "dirty" then IMO it needs a conventional wash...

No question that a waterless wash has it's place, but if that car has not been washed in 3 months a waterless wash is not the thing to do. BTW that paint needs more than claying. Sorry

I have tried them and I'm not a big fan of waterless washes. I guess as a last resort they're OK but I just not a fan of dragging dirt and debris across the paint.

I am sure he can see the swirls. I see his point as given the use of a brush to remove snow and waterless washing , the paint should be in worse shape than it is in.

No one can say how much waterless washing contributed to the less than perfect condition given the use of a brush to remove snow and we do not know the technique used with the waterless wash (conservative or liberal use, number of towels used, etc).

I'm still a bit leery of the waterless products for anything more than a layer of dust, but after one winter season I'm definitely sold on ONR.

The best waterless wash I have used is griots garage spray on car wash. Before I started following online forums I ordered the griots from a catalog and used it on my car in my apt parking lot. That stuff cuts through tree sap like it was nothing. I parked under a tree in early spring and the tree unleashed huge gobs of foamy sap and the waterless wash saved me lots of time. I now only use ONR because its the best solution for me to keep my car clean with no access to a hose. I keep griots waterless wash in my car for bird bombs and sap.

I am OCD. I plan on ordering some waterless, but use it when I would use a quick detail. I also plan on using it as a presoak for rinseless washes.

I know they work as advertised, and a lot of people love them, but I am still in the air about them.

It all depends on how dirty the car is. If it light dirt and just needs a little touch up it should be fine.
