Well like I promised here is the official thread for you all to use to follow Bruno Massel in the NHRA “Competition Eliminator” class and the Autogeek sponsored Chevy Cobalt.

Bruno started the year off on the right foot by dominating the Pro Import division from start to finish by scoring the win from the pole position. He won with a 4.524 second run at 157.19 at the Palm Beach Shakedown, which was held at the newly renovated Palm Beach International Raceway.

“Fortunately we brought plenty, setting low ET and top speed as we qualified #1 and went on to win the event with our turbocharged 4-cylinder Chevrolet Cobalt. Not only was it great to win our first race of the year, but a great way to welcome aboard Autogeek.net. It was also nice to continue the winning momentum we had from last season, as we stretched our winning streak to four consecutive races and 19 consecutive round wins!” – Bruno Massel

Team Autogeek heads to “Hotlanta”

Hey everyone, this weekend the Autogeek racing team gets back on track at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals in Atlanta, GA. We’re coming into this event on a 4 race winning streak and hope to keep the momentum going as our season finally gets into full swing. Right now, we’ve got fresh motors that are making big power and that has translated into some big numbers on the track during some recent test sessions. Now all we need is lady luck on our side as we enter into three straight weeks of racing!

This weekend should be exciting as Max is flying in to help us debut the Autogeek.net color scheme on the NHRA circuit. I’m hoping Max will bring some good weather and the aforementioned lady luck necessary to get us into the winner’s circle! If you happen to be in the Atlanta area this weekend, I encourage you to make your way over to the track in nearby Commerce, GA and say “hello”. If you can’t make it to the track there is a live audio feed you can listen to on NHRA.com. If you want to learn more about our racing program you can always log onto www.brunomasselracing.com (http://www.brunomasselracing.com/) as well.

I plan on posting updates, race results and a pic or two along the way, so stay tuned. Our goal this season is to capture another NHRA World Championship, it’s not going to be easy, but nothing worth having ever is!

One more thing, if you haven’t got yourself one of the new Autogeek.net racing “performance tees” hurry up and do so before there gone, Max tells me they are going fast!

Talk Soon,
Bruno

When Bruno wins, do we all win?
