I've read about mostly using compressed air to clean surbuf and microfiber pads. What about foam pads? Will it damage them? Also, what PSI do you use to clean pads? Generally speaking...

Don't worry Mark, it won't damage foam pads.

Hey Mark,

I use compressed air on my foam pads without damage. :props:

I have never used compressed air to clean my pads. I already have a descent size compressor and just bought the right attachment for it so I am looking forward to trying it out. Alot of people really like it. Good question Mark

I use compressed air to "assist" my foam pads during their drying....

I think mine is set at 90psi Mark.

Thanks, bud.

I;m wondering if this compressor would be sufficient for cleaning pads as far as SCFM?

Ouch! seriously though, I will be cleaning them when I get the mf pads in...even though I'm ordering 12 pads :)

Not sure. I fill my 10 gal portable tank and that doesn't last too long, but it would be enough to clean a pad between sections. You only need about 5 seconds of air to clean it out. It would probably be running a lot though!

I'm sure you can return it if it doesn't work right?

If a 10 gallon barely cuts it,
I'm sure a 4 gallon wouldn't be up to the task.

That's just a portable tank, no compressor...but yeah, I would still try and get a comp with a larger tank.

Ahhhh, no compressor. I'm going to try the 4 gallon, if it doesn't work, I'll exchange it for a bigger tank.
