Behind the scenes pictures - TV Features for What's in the Garage? (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/32946-behind-scenes-pictures-tv-features-what-s-garage.html)
Over the last few days we shot 13 "Features" for our new TV show What's in the Garage? that will debut on Fox Sports Network on Sunday, April 3rd and repeat on Mondays at 4:30pm, both Eastern Time and then continue in those time slots for 13 weeks and one 30 second commercial.
A commercial is usually 30 or 60 seconds but a Feature is anywhere from 1, 2 or 3 minutes long and it showcases a product and hopefully shares what the product is, some action shots of the product in use and some before and after results.
All of this takes a lot of set-up time, all the necessary products and of course since we all live, eat and breathe in the car hobby, it also takes some cool cars.
A few days ago I posted a thread with a link to my Facebook Page sharing some of the cool cars coming to Autogeek to be used in our Features.

Ted Jones is a veteran race car driver and when we needed someone to move out the 1965 GTO with the 632 cubic inch Pontiac big block he was already starting the engine.

Moving the GTO into the correct position for the cameras for another feature... this 1965 GTO belongs to my good friend, "Earl the Plumber" and he was so kind to drive it over and leave it for a few days... Earl is not only a "Car Guy", but he's also got a great sense of humor as you'll see below with Rick Goldstein!

We would like to thank David Stern, Rick Goldstein and Eric Dunn for taking the time out of their busy schedules to travel to sunny Stuart, Florida and be a part of their Features.
We would also like to thank Butch, Ted, Sherry McCall, (not pictured), Brendan and Scott for traveling to the Autogeek Show Car Garage Studio to shoot these features, you folks did a great job and we'll see you again in a few weeks for the next project.
Time to play catch-up!
