I owned this car from 2002 to 2008 when i sold it to my buddy at work. 02-03 was my senior year in high school, this was my second car. Well, he is strapped for cash, and im lookin for a beater car and my gf needs a winter car when the Stang is stored, so i bought it back, for a FRIGGIN STEAL!!! Its still worth over 5500 bucks, and i got it for 2500. hahahahaha. I was willing to pay up to 4 grand, lol.

Here it is with the mustang behind it before we sold it.

i got it back last thursday. The headlights were already fogged when i sold it to him, so it just got a lot worse. I will still end up buying new headlights housings because these didnt come out good enough for me, but for now this is a lot better!! The passengers side light is not fixable. I went down to 500 grit and its still f'd up. If they both wouldve came out like the drivers side, i prolly wouldnt buy new. but hell, 1Aauto has em for 85 bucks a set.

after 1 hour of wetsanding with 1000 then 2000 then buffed with Megs 105.

this car is going to get a full wekkend paint correction this spring. I wish i had tmie to wetsand the entire car, i would love to get rid of all the orange peal in the paint only because i LOVE the color on this car. But a 105/205 correction will do pretty damn good!! I put all the swirl marks in the paint back when i owned the car the first time b.c i washed it every week and didnt use the 2 bucket method back then.

the spolier will DEFINITELY be getting wetsanded. Or a wool buff bad. Or both! lol

With all the swirls looks like the orange peel has already been knocked down for you.lol That is a nice color when polished and waxed. What a steal! I need to come across a deal like that so I can redo the tranny and all the engine seals on the S10. Have fun polishing your old baby:).

thanks. I always loved the color. i washed this thing once a week and waxed once a month back in high school. It stayed inside every night back then, so keeping it clean wasnt hard work.

we've been waiting for a deal like this, and im glad its on a car that i know and basically put all the miles on. My buddy had it for 3 years and only put 20K on it. I already had the intake gaskets replaced, its a 3.4 so thats natural, lol. I had all the rotors and pads replaced and a few other things when i sold it to him. All he did was get it a little dirrty. thats it, lol. he kept it a lot cleaner than i thuoght he would.

Many times I've kicked myself for selling a car and a few I wish I had today. They'd bring back some great memories and I'd feel like a kid again.....not that I've grown up entirely mind you...

Congratulations and nice comeback! :props:

Last year my wife made me sell my 2007 911. She that did not want to ride in a car so close to the ground. Now everytime I see a 911 I get a pain in my gut.
I am going to get another one. Let her take a bus. (ha ha) We have more than one car.

i dont think it is. Prolly cuz i did it enough. In high school i always put the hyperwhites in, and the casr never liked them, always blew em. So i just stick with the 30% brighter Sylvanias. They work awesome!
