Hi All,

Haven't posted much these days....busy...busy...busy....but always lurking. Hopefully spring is around the corner here in Virginia and my thoughts are turning toward detailing again. I've currently been using the Klasse twins with Natty Blue as a topper and was wondering what other waxes you'd recommend for this color. It's called slate grey and has metallic flecks and a blueish tint to it. Thanks much for any advise. Cheers. //bluegoose//

My mother's 95' E320 is also a dark metallic gray color. I've topped it with M21 before and found it somewhat lacking. I decided to follow up with a coat of Wolfgang sealant and that really did the trick. I noticed an extra sparkle in the paint that M21 just didn't have.
I'm also partial to S100 and Fuzion as toppers, but I've only used those on my 96' Prelude (which is red), so I can't reference those with the color, but the both looked great on red!

OCW might be a great topper for you, too. It is so easy to apply and gives a great shine.

Imo sigII wax or liquid souveran will make the metallic color pop

Max Wax, SSII, 915, Fuzion, Rainforest Rub, UPGP Are what come to mind for me.....they will all look great on that color!

:iagree:

But of course, make sure you give it a good polish and jeweling stage, then if you want to hit it with a glaze, do so. If not, lay down a good base sealant like a 4Star or WGDGPS or Menz Power lock, then top it off with SigII, Liq Souv, or Supernatural!
