No - it's wipe on, wipe off. Using a DA is not needed for this product.

Liquid waxes can be applied by machine as well as paste waxes, but spray waxes are normally done by hand.

It can produce more gloss by machine actually. Use a microfiber bonnet and use slow speeds. Spread it with an applicator the buff till dry with the machine.

I've used it by machine as an experiment and it really amped up the shine/reflectivity. I used a finishing pad. If it's worth the extra trouble is your call.

So easy to apply by hand that the thought of applying it by DA never crossed my mind. Great wax. Use it after almost every regular wash.
