Just as the title states, do you need a dedicated metal sealant for underhood use? Specifically things that get quite hot, uncoated, polished valve covers and a supercharger for example.

Klasse AIO and call it a day or would the underhood temps. cause an issue?

Im pretty sure Duragloss 105 is designed for extremely high temps. I dont know about Klasse. The Sonus Motor & Trim Coatt is a Spray On Walk Away Acryllic that is high temp. The trigger should be replaced with a pump mist sprayer to avoid overspray IMO.
Ron aka R. Surfer swears by Blackfire Metal Sealant. I want to try it.

P21S/S100 makes a "Corrosion Protectant" they market for use on motorcycle chrome, and I've used it with success on some under-hood metal parts as well as on exhaust tips.
