View Full Version : Have a Bad Scratch, need advice

I bought this car as a daily driver after getting tired of $75 fillups in my old SUV. I got it for a good price but that was becuase it has some "issues"

non of which are really important except this 1 scratch that runs across a panel and a door.

You can feel it slightly under your finger nail and I dont have the skill set to tackle this yet. A friend said I should go to a body shop and spend the money getting the panel resprayed but I wanted to hear some other opinions

The pic isn't the best since the angle is odd but its definitely like someone keyed it

Anyone know a local detailer who has skill in the northern virginia area? I would like this fixed

Really tough to tell in that picture. I think I can see it though. Whether or not it can be taken out? I really can't tell from that picture. Can you get a better shot??

I have taken out scratches from cars getting keyed before. Certainly not impossible.
