I received a phone call from the owner of the dealership I work at and he asked if I could take a look at a car for him. If my owner calls me about a problem Jaguar customer it has to bad . Our in house car prep department decided to try and clean up this customers car after the customer was really upset on how the car looked when he took delivery.
The one thing which is hard for me too do is stop and take pictures of cars that I detail at work at the same having to watch over the 7 guys who work in my shop and answer the phone every ten minutes . Plus the everyday day problems that I'm responsible to take care of .
The only thing I had on my side is that most of the panels on the XF are flat and very few tight areas . Down side the car is black . Most of the side panels were in pretty good shape but the top panels roof, trunk ,hood were in bad shape .
Process as follows
Washed the car with Dawn
Used my leaf blower and shop air to dry off car .
105 Cyan pad
205 Tangerine pad
Had no time to seal the paint
The interior of the car was mint so only had to give it a good wipe down using 303 .
Was used was Mothers Reflections Advanced Top Coat
Wanted to use something that lasted a while and the customer could use also .
Here are some pictures in no special order .

Great job man. I also have the same problem stopping to take pictures. I get so wrapped up in what I'm doing and forget all about it.

Hey Adam,

That's quite a transformation!

I have a feeling there's one happy customer out there who's pretty pleased with the quality or work you performed.

Nice job! :props:

Hey Adam great work buddy, I am sure the owner will be very happy now!!!

Also our good friend Dana (aka ASPHALT ROCKET) texted me and asked me to post this "Great job Adam, and just think; you are not a pro and do better work".

I think you are a little confused on the Jaguar models. The XF, XJ, and XK all come with a 5.0L V8 that is naturally aspirated for their base models. Each of them has the option for a supercharged motor as seen in the R series and in the case of the XF and XJ models a slightly detuned (from the R) supercharged series.

The XJ and XF are very similar in appearance but have some subtle differences making one a luxury sedan and the other a sport sedan.
