Hope this is the place to post ... and I realize its Superbowl Sunday

I've been lurking the forum in anticipation of starting my own detailing business. It seems worthwhile to get the training, but living in the SW, offering rock chip repair also seems to be something I should be skilled at.

A G search turns up many resources for products and training. Not sure if going with the most expensive is the best route.

I was hoping that some on this forum have experience with some of the suppliers and could recommend a few worth looking into.

Any feedback appreciated.

Actual rock chip repair is not done by polishing.

It is generally done by forcing a special optical two part epoxy into the crack or chip. It will prevent the spreading of the crack or chip, but is by no means invisible.

Here is an example of the most common inexpensive method.

Thanks OLDMAN

But I was hoping for references/experience with companies like these:

Glass Repair, Windshield Repair Kits, Windshield Repair Kit, Glass Protection - GlasWeld (http://www.glasweld.com/)

Try Windshield Repair : Auto Glass Repair : Windshield Repair Kit : Delta Kits (http://www.deltakits.com). Spend some time in their forums for a good background on what you need.
