This customer has an 06' F-250 on a 12 inch lift... He is in need of a one stage correction with some light defects in the paint which we are scheduling at a later date and just requested a wash and wax... When I saw how his wheels looked, I couldn't leave them how they were given to me! Spent somtime getting to know my wadding polish very well... Here is the procedure:

Wash:
2 bucket method
Megs Gold Class

Wheels:
Soaked with Diluted dodo juice BOB solution
Washed with Daytona Speed Brushes and lug nut brushes

Dry:
THE ONE....THE ONLY...GUZZLER!!!!

Clay:
Wolfgang Poly
Dodo Juice BOB dilution for lubrication

Wax:
Pinnacle Souveran on Red LC pad

Tire Dressing:
Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel

Chrome Polishing:
Eagle One Nevr-Dull

On to the pictures!!!! Not to many dirty body panel shots... it is what it is....

Every Paint Panel looked like this (hasnt been washed in over a month)

Chrome was just as bad

Wheels were caked on red... yummy

After the wash the paint was still filthy... this is just from the tailgate

Onto the fun with chrome!

So you think it looks pretty and shiny?

Think again....Caked on brake dust after wash

Wiping with fingers to show it wont come off

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l169/natewood70/rubbingbrakedust.jpg

No removal on fingers

After wipe

After wadding polish

After polish with one coat of tire dressing for conditioning

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l169/natewood70/wheelafter.jpg

After with one more coat of tire dressing

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l169/natewood70/wheelafter2.jpg

Think I forgot about the exhaust? He is replacing the entire exhaust in 2 weeks, so the scratching in the tip didnt matter to him.

trhland - yea, I love souveran... I wish it was sunny out so you could see more, but the paint still looked nice and glossy!

Tweed- man, I'm 6'4 and usually have no problems, this one I had to bust out the step ladder lol

I can imagine! My brother just bought himself a 06 F-350 dually. It's lifted 4 inches. It's enormous! He wants me to detail when I got to Texas to see him. Going to take me all damn weekend!

Looks awesome, and great job on the wheels! I have a question though.

Why didn't you try something a little stronger on the wheels to get them cleaner berfore you polished them? I think a wheel cleaner would have gotten some more of that caked on dust off and made it easier for you to polish.

not bashing, just wondering...no matter what you still did a great job and it looks fantastic!
