Thanks for the leather info. next question - what are your favorite products to clean up in between washes. My car is black and I would wipe it down witha micro fiber cloth - but should I use a touch up shine spray? Thanks

general cleanups --- Mothers Showtime, Duragloss 921

after washes to add pop and pizazz --- Clearkote Quikshine, Pinnacles Crystal Mist, Duragloss Aquawax, Poorboys Spray/Gloss, Finish Kare 425, Z8

There are sooooooo many good products out there. You really aren't going to be dissappointed between certain products if you do your research. There are many many good spray detailers and spray waxes out there.

Basically anything from Wolfgang, Pinnacle, DP, and Duragloss will not let you down. Of course, I'm just relaying info from what I've learned from others.

I'm just wondering why you picked those 2 for general cleanups? Do those two have more cleaners or more lubrication qualities? Thanks.I don't know about Showtime, but 921 not only is very slick and leaves a light coating similar to AW, but it cleans great.

I really like the PoorBoy's Spray & Wipe for inbetween washes. Followed by PB Spray & Gloss, or I just got some Clearcoat Quickshine. The Meg's Quick Deatil is good too.

For me, between washes I don't touch the paint unless it's an emergency bird bomb cleanup or the like. It's difficult to see my car dusty, but I can't bring myself to spray some QD on there and begin wiping...especially with a black car. It's just asking for swirls IMO.

After washes I use FK425 for a QD and either aquawax or FX-100 for a spray sealant/wax. After that it's hands off until the next wash.
