Pontiac Solstice (Turbo)
I friend of mine purchased this vehicle used about a year and a half ago. The person the owned the vehicle before him did not take care of the vehicle at all. His vehicle has been at the dealership getting a new motor for the pasted 2 months and let’s just says it looks like the left the vehicle outside the whole time. He has been wanting to get it detailed for a while and he finally decided to get it done. We proceeded to do a full headlight correction, exhaust and rim polishing (by hand), claybar treatment, and wax. Let just say he was quite please with the results.
Products Used:
Pre-Soak: P21S TAW
Wash: DP Xtreme Foam
Clay: Pinnacle Poly Clay
Clay Lube: DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss
Wax: Chemical Guys Butter Wet
Wheels: DP Wheel Gel
Wheel Polish: Mothers Mag Polish (By Hand)
Tires: Megs APC 4:1
Tire Dressing: Chemical Guys VRP
Exhaust Tip: Optima Metal Polish/ #0000 Steel Wool

Headlights:
Wet sanded with 1500 grit sand paper. Then buffed using Flex Lightweight Rotary Buffer with Hook and Loop wool Pad and 4’’ Orange CCS Pad with Poorboy’s World SYN1. Then sealed with 2 coats of Chemical Guys M-Seal

nice work. How long did it take you to polish out the rims? Looked like there were some nasty water spots on them.

Thanks, The water spots were removed after they were cleaned. I polished the rims because there was some areas were the chrome was starting to pit do to the brake dust sitting on the rims
