Hi, I'm looking into trying out FinishKare Hi-Temp 1000-P Paste Wax [Sealant] for my 2008 MINI Cooper, and I wanted to make sure that it wouldn't stain textured black plastic/rubber trim (Which is a pain to mask off on the MINI...)? Thanks for your advice....

Bump. Any takers??

I've got some in my late-April queue. The anticipation is killing me. I've been waiting since I got it in January. I take it off the shelf every couple weeks, open it, and just look at it for a minute. These SD winters get long sometimes...

In my experience, as long as you don't allow it to dry on trim you'll be fine. Same applies to Jescar Powerlock and Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. If any of these are allowed to dry on neglected textured trim you will have staining. Just my personal experience.

•Regardless the LSP that's going
on the paintwork...I dress the trim
and allow it to dry beforehand.

-That way: Any "uh-ohs" easily
wipe right off.
