I heard a lot about these all purpose general cleaners, and recently purchased a 32 oz bottle of each. I know it can be used on wheels, wheel wells, as well as interior carpet, leather, and vinyl. But it is all about dillution ratio.
So, questions: What is a safe dillution ratio for general exterior cleaning? 4:1?
Wheels, wheel wells and such. What will perform better APC or APC+?

Interior cleaning will require a more gentle cleaner. What will be the dillution ratio? 10:1? Or carpet cleaner should have a stronger cleaner which will not recommended on leather and vinyl?

Thanks in advance.

I'm telling you that 10:1 is all you need for average cleaning.....both inside and out. I tried it at 4:1 and seen no more effectiveness on tires and wheels. I've used APC (Green) for a year now and love it. Very economical and usefull. I use it on the lower panels and on bug on the outside. I've noticed that it will not remove an LSP either. On carpets, it leaves a nice smell and brightness while cleaning superbly. I've used it on vinyl but not leather. I'd stick to Woolite for the leather.

APC+ suppose to be non-foaming.

Yep. It has a few more degreasers that cut the foaming way down. I kinda like the foam though.

Yeah and you can STILL feel the soaps in it. I might have to try 20:1 just to see.

The only time I use 4:1 is when there are reeeeeaaaaally bad carpet stains. Other then that 10:1 is the way to go. Im speaking of APC+ though... havent tried regular APC.

APC+ smells like oranges.. I like it, and enjoy using APC+

You can pretty much use any diluation ration, above 4:1, and like others have stated, don't use 4:1 much, as 10:1 is more than enough, in most situations.

Good stuff! Cheap too..

I have a question. What do you guys mean by the 10:1?

I have a question. What do you guys mean by the 10:1?

10 parts water to 1 part product.

What is this APC+? Any one have a link to it? I have seen APC just not the + before.

I plan on using APC/APC+ for all interior cleaning except leather. Tough stains and spots I use Folex (AWESOME stuff).

How well does APC work on bugs for the front? Especially if trying to save money for bulk detailing? Is APC good enough where there is no need to buy a specific bug remover?

AG doesn't seem to carry APC+, although a quick search on any search engine will yield desired results.

Speaking of which, we have TERRIBLE lady-bugs here in FL, and it does a great job with them. Be sure not to let the product sit on the paint very long. Dilute according to serverity of the bugs.

Happy Holidays!
