Does anyone know how well this Griot's product works with removing operspray off clear coated chrome wheels?

I've had marginal sucess with the Meg's,Pinnacle,Adams clay bars, but still have spots on the wheels from overspray that I can't get off.I don't want to go with a aggressive clay that will take off the overspray but induce swirl's/scratches.

I've used Mothers clay to remove overspray from regular chrome wheels and painted/clear coated wheels, I imagine the Griot's would work just fine.
