Anyone have a good method to clean the seat belt (actual seat belt strap)? I have scrubbed them in the past but they always soak up too much product and stain really easy

I spray it with either DP Total Interior Cleaner or DP Carpet Pre-Extractor treatment and then use a steamer. I wouldn't use anything that contains any kind of petroleum to clean because that'll weaken the webbing.

Ok thank you I will try it, do vacuum it dry instead of a towel? To suck the dirt out rather than pressing it in?

I use APC+ and a white towel, spray it on and wipe it off.

I vacuum first, then lightly spray some cleaner on it, then run a steamer over it. After all that I'll wipe it down with a dry towel.

There are specific "seat belt" cleaners out there you can use safely. Although most APC cleaners used here should be perfectly safe for such a resistant and well made material, harsh cleaners will deteriorate seat belts over time. Make sure to rinse the belts well after cleaning. Steam is good for stains and rinsing, but keep the heat moving over the belt.

The Meguiars APC + works great with an upholstery brush.
