Griots weatherproof tire dressing

I know killrwhells did a review on this over a year ago but was wondering if anyone has tried it on black textured trim.I know it's a dye so it should last awhile or is it like using forever black.I've been using PBTR and UTTG but was looking to dye badly fadded trim.

I now use it exclusively on my splashguards ... not bright enough for tires as light matte in outcome. Does "seem" to last on plastic trim but apply carefully and thin. (its a rather thick lotion design)
