View Full Version : Best Microfibers for Detail Sprays

What is the best microfiber towels that won't lint and work with great with detail sprays instead of polishes. I have polishing towels, but they just smear the detail sprays. I've been looking at Zaino Border-Free towels. Any one have any experience with these or other reccomendations?

they work really nice with my Chemical Guys Synthetic spray.
Anway everything is going to smear it around...isnt that the point of the detail spray to have it clean the paint off..then you flip the towel and buff it clean..Thats what i do anyway

Idk if it is or not. I can't find any videos on how to properly use a detail spray lol.

I always use a few MF when using a QD or WW. Do not expect to do a vehicle with one or two. Remember everytime you take a swipe that you want a clean portion of the MF touching the surface! After I am done with each panel I also take a seperate dry MF to buff that panel off! Check this link out...it may be helpful!

The only time I use a detail spray is after a wash.

Anway everything is going to smear it around...isnt that the point of the detail spray to have it clean the paint off..then you flip the towel and buff it clean..Thats what i do anyway

I think a lot of QD's smear, and some not so much. I think that and the LSP you have on the car have more to do with smearing than towels do.

Ok thanks. And do the Cobra towels lint really bad? I've heard a lot of people complain about Cobra towels linting after just a few uses.

I dunno, the Cobra's I have don't lint, but I don't have many of them and they are from a number of years ago.
