Well with the fall buffer deal, I can't help but upgrade to the newer PCXP. So I guess I will retire the old under powered PC and take advantage of the sale......but what to do with the retired PC?
I would imagine there are a lot of old PC's sitting around, so what is everyone doing with them?

I would personally hold on to it. I dont like letting a machine go just because you never know when one will go down on you.

You can buy a smaller backing plate for it and use the smaller 3" and 4" pads for those smaller areas you need to buff out. That is what I use mine for, plus I always have a back up if something happens to my other one.

I held on to my old PC and use it for my dedicated carpet machine after I got some of those PC carpet brushes.

It has plenty of power for smaller pads and for damp sanding, or for carpets.....

I bought a couple of smaller backing plates and use it for tight spots when I'm working out swirls. For the most part I leave it set up for applying sealants and waxes.....:props:
