Please help make a decision. I have had a PC 7424 for 2 years..Want to move up to a flex. Should I go for the newest module PE 14-2-150 or just get the regular Flex Dual Action? I just basically do 3 cars at home. Sometimes I will do a co-workers car or 2.

If you're trying to justify spending $380.00 on a Flex polisher by doing 3 cars annually at home you'll have your work cut out for you. I'm also assuming that you want to change from a DA unit to a rotary.

The Porter Cable 7424 is a nice polisher and if it's providing good performance and satisfies your needs then why change.

Now, if you "want" the Flex 3401 I can tell you it's quite a polisher and you won't be disappointed. :props:

I'm in the same boat and I ordered the Flex DA 3401, with 3 cars I don't think you need a rotary buffer, I would go with the Flex DA 3401

I would go for the 3401 (DA), that should be fine for what you're doing and a bit cheaper than the new rotary.
