Hello to all.Just purchaed a new car(2006 Honda Accord)
Gonna do some shopping. What do others recommend
I purchase.Already Have a Porter and 6 inch Back plate.
Along with some DA 6 1/2 white/Black/red pads.
The car is Virgin, silver and has never been touched.
I was thinking of some AI1 with some WGS.Possibly
followed with a couple good quality coats of wax.
Do I need a 5 inch plate for the pc and some bonnets.
Can I use the Bonnets with the 6 inch plate.
Thanks.

You can never go wrong with brands slike Poorboy's, Pinnacle, Wolfgang, or DP. All their products are excellent in quality, and you will always be satisfied.

Not counted! Souveran looks good on anything! :D Plus your biased! ;)

First, read up on polishing needs and assess what you will use. First however being a new car, you WANT to clay the car. Horrible exposure to contamination happens right out of the factory being hauled cross country. Sometimes they put plastic over the trunk and hood, more times no than yes sadly -_-

SInce its a new car with light swirls I am assuming, check out Pinnacle XMT 1 and XMT 2 on an orange pad as described in the polishing link above. I think they will suit your needs quite well :)

Depending on where you live, you should look into a sealant or wax. In short a Carnauba gives a more pretty look and about 4 weeks worth of useful beading and protection while some sealants protect and give great looks for upwards of 5-6 months. What look are you after?

My favorite Sealants:

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant ]best looking sealant to me, like super carnauba :D while offering solid protection.

Duragloss 105 [best looking sealant with durability on this scale. This stuff looks great and just doesnt come off.

Thanks for the great advice.
I'm from Toronto so I might have to bring out the heater and
warm up the Garage.Little chilly up here.
Wolfgang deep gloss sealany over all in one should give me
some winter protection.Does anyone recommend a wax over that.
ex.collinite product.

I would top it off with some carnauba wax, Collinite Insulator wax #845, or superdouble coat paste wax #476S.
Good luck.
