View Full Version : I hate leaves!

So the city I live in has curbside leaf pick-up. Basically a dump truck towing a giant vacuum cleaner. It's a great perk. However... I park on the street and when the contraption comes by, it's throwing shredded leaves all over the place, including my WHITE car. The leaves sit there, get wet with the morning dew, and leave brown stains all over my car! I have two coats of sealant and two coats of Collinite 476 and I STILL have to clay to get rid of the stains. I know its the tannin in the leaves... kinda like a tea stain... but still...

Just venting....

Just be happy it only happens once a year.

That sucks! At least it's not pine needles! I think pine needles are by far the worst! They are sappy so they stick and leave stains as well, plus they are small enough to get into every crack!

I'm lucky, all I have to deal with is the snow and an occasional hot muggy day :)
