2005 tacoma, TRD sport, 4wd. I just finished with the winter prep today. I actually started on it 2 months ago with the correction/polish stage. No pics of that, it was my first time and I was excited to keep moving :)

During that stage I did:
wash - NXT car wash
dry: leaf blower and waffle weave
clay: DP clay and lube
correct: WG TSR with LC 6.5 flat orange on griots ROP
polish: WG FG with LC 6.5 flat white
clean/polish: I decided to start with klasse AIO to help remove the polishing oils and get a base of protection. Did this by hand.
seal: klasse SG by hand.
topper: pinnacle souveran by hand after waiting 24 hours.

At this point I left it alone and just continued to use it for my DD tasks. Today I went ahead and finished it out.

wash: NXT car wash
dry: leaf blower and waffle weave
wheels/tires cleaning: Megs APC+ 4:1
wheels/tires dressing: Megs hyper 1:1
glass: Stoners Invisible glass
interior: DP total interior protectant
LSP: pinnacle souveran liquid by hand

I'll continue to do regular washes and use either WG DGSS or OCW. I also have a sample of dodo blue velvet to try at some point. Will probably wait till spring to try that. Anyway, enough talk!

Thanks! I did the vette at the same time as the truck. I cleaned it up this weekend too, but didn't have time to put the LSP on it. Once I get that on I'll get some pics and do a writeup on it as well. I got a sample of dodo diamond white to try.

Yes, I am loving it now. I wasn't really happy with it at 2:1, but at 1:1 it's just perfect for how I like the truck tires to look. Goes on easy, dries quickly, and hangs on pretty good if the weather is decent. I like that it's not greasy looking, but still has a nice gloss.

Thanks! I did the steps in the order I wrote them down. If you are referring to the klasse AIO clean/polish I mentioned, I did that after using the WG FG.

Using the "quote" feature I dissected your post to highlight your process...

correct: WG TSR with LC 6.5 flat orange on Griot's ROP

polish: WG FG with LC 6.5 flat white

clean/polish: I decided to start with Klasse AIO to help remove the polishing oils and get a base of protection. Did this by hand.

seal: Klasse SG by hand.

topper: pinnacle Souveran by hand after waiting 24 hours.

And then sliced this part out so anyone new to detailing whether a forum member or a lurker can be inspired to duplicate your success...

it was my first time

Nice work!

Well, if you didn't have that AR Razor thingy on your front plate I would comment that this was a great job. Looks awesome!!! But, I wont. ;)

Thanks guys! It was a lot of fun doing this. The great informative folks here on AG gave me the confidence to jump in and tackle this and the vette. The metallic in the paint REALLY pops now :) I should have some pics of the vette up either today or tomorrow. I hope the camera can bring out the pop in the vette too!
