I was wondering what does everyone like..I am going to get a Flex before the end of the month and will need new pads. So what would be my best for it..I have always used the Lake Country CCS pads on my PC, Now I was wondering if I should try the LC flat pads or the Hydro Tech pads or just stick with the CCS.

If you've got plenty of ccs pads and like them then stick with them... But snap up one of each HT pad and give them a shot :xyxthumbs:

well all my CCS are 5.5 so i cant use them..The CCS seem ok I just cant stand cleaning them..its a pain to get all the product out of all those little dimples. Plus i keep reading the HT pads seem to cut faster and finish better.

I certainly prefer the HT pads over the rest. I highly recommend them

Well you can cut down the BP to take 5.5 pads. I did and haven't put on a larger pad since. And if you mess up cutting it then a new bp is only $20. I like the flex with the 5.5 pads alot

I use all kinds of LC pads and get great results no matter what. I try not to over analyze this stuff, but for the most part I prefer to keep it simple and stick with a flat pad.

That seems to be the next wave of fame. Now trying to decide if I wait for the new Megs DA system or go for HTs. Aww heck, I'll do them both. :)

I've not been super happy with the Soft Buffs, but I think it's more the 7" size than anything.

Flat pads and perhaps Hydro-Techs are nice choices ...

Right now, I use 5.5 inch CCS pads with my G110v2, but I'm thinking I might pick up some 6.5 inch Hydro-Tech pads when I get a Flex 3401 VRG. :xyxthumbs:

On my Flex I use;

CCS Pads - 6"
Flat Pads - 5 1/2"
Kompressor Pads - 6" & 7"

I ordered the 7" by mistake but they work quite well...

Where do you get the CCS Pads - 6" Bobby? I wasn't aware they made the CCS in a 6".

Which pads do you suggest I get? Was looking for Lake Country flats 5.5 inch pads. Wanted to get 2 orange, 3 white and one black or blue. Is that a good starter package?
