First, how do I get this wheel to be a mirror finish (if possible). 2nd, I just tried out the Wolfgang wheel and tire cleaner on one, and the optimum power clean on the other. The Power clean seemed to leave my tire a little yellow, not the case with the wolfg. However, the Optimum cut through the stuff like butter. Any one else getting some discoloration on their tires with the Optimum Power Clean?

removed brown but never seen a yellow tire after OPC.

Your wheel needs polishing to remove the scratches.

thats kind of what i figured. Will steel wool get the job done, along with a cleaner or polisher?

you need to find out the finish first. If the metal is coated then you should not use steel wool and need to stick to paint polishes just like other painted areas.

gotcha, just found out they are the OEM polished with a clear coat.
