Is it OK to top Duragloss 101 with Collinite 845? If so, is there a recommended cure time?

Let the Duragloss set for a few hours & then top it with the Collinite. The more time given for the cure time, the better the bond between the two.

Yes, it is perfectly OK, there are no cleansers in 845. Your best bet is waiting 12-24 hours between a sealant and a wax.

... or just wait until the next time you need to wash it.

I wouldn't use a hybrid sealant on top of another sealant. JMO.

If you use Duragloss 601 before 101, you can top 101 with Collinite within 2 hours.

Thanks for the info, all. I like to top with 845, and will try the Duragloss 101 for a light polish this time. I plan on using a white pad.

I emailed DG and asked about combining the following products and the order of application if they are compatible but their answer did not answer my question entirely.

I have DG 101,and DG 601 and was wondering if I could top the 101 with either 105 or 111. The answer I received from DG was to use 601 followed by 105. Can I, or should I apply 101 first then 601 then 105 or would it be best to skip the 101 and only use the 601 and 105?

This is going on my hunting truck that sits out 24/7 so I am looking for durability more than gloss.

Check out the link that Shade Tree posted above in Post #2. I found it very helpful, and I believe you will, too.
