I had paint splatters on the lower panels behind the front wheels, someone on the board (Twinkride101 & Bill) suggested Paint Thinner. It worked great. Don't know if it would work for the tree sap, but maybe.

Good luck!

My sister had this problem, and it was pretty much dried. I just clay barred the area, and it worked great!

I just cannot suggest paint thinner for your problem. FOr sap, 3M Adhesive Remover will more than take care of it. Or you can clay it off.

No, don't use any acetone, it will remove your clearcoat.

:iagree:
Many time I perked under trees, and tree sap was removed by just washing a car. First, presoak it with a foam gun.
If it wont work, add some bug squash to your wash (I usually wash car with Megs NXT in that case, but presoak it with foam gun and Poorboy's SS&S).
If that still doens't work then Spray the affected area with Bug Squash or Tarminator.
Remember, you will need to rewax, as these products will remove any wax or sealant.

Good luck.
