Hey all, my name is Jon Garrison, from Tulsa Oklahoma. I LOVE cars, I've had about 25 and I'm only 34 years old.......yes, I know its a sickness. Mostly been all old used cars though and have always wanted to make them look as good as possible, I've found this site and been reading finally got up the grapes to purchase a PC, I just used it on my wifes 2004 acura mdx (scared to death the whole time) and just did a test spot to try and get comfortable first. All Wolfgang products. Needless to say I'm quite intrigued with my first pass.

Forgive the question, did a search and couldn't find it. How necessary is it for specific microfiber wash products? Is there harm in washing with good detergent (liquid), no fabric softner, and no heat drying?
