(http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNman000) I have been doing some corrections lately with my Flex XC (6.5"pads) and PCXP (3"pads for small areas and A&B pillars). I'm trying the MEGS 105/205 and PB SSR2.5/1.0 combo's.It's almost a toss up for me for which one will get used the most for all my future corrections. The only quality I wish both products had would be increased cut time with the 105 and SSR2.5 and no dusting http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_13_4.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNman000).
I did some thread searching (non dusting compounds) and found this:
Optimum Hyper Compound Spray (http://www.autogeek.net/opt-hyper-compound-spray.html)
"http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_112.gif (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/customer-comments/28985-optimum-hyper-compound-consistency.http://www.autogeek.net/opt-hyper-compound-spray.html
It seems MOST everyone that worked it say's it has excellent work time and
NO DUSTING [URL="http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNman000).

I will definetly try the spray compound and spray polish and justify doing so because of the two qualities they offer.
The only opinion i'm looking for is which is the best pads for this product,with-out jumping to a rotary and using the Optimum 8" pads ?

Would the LC Hydro's be a good choice or are others using something else to get correcting/finishing sucess with the Optimum Spray twin's ?
I would think because of the work time thats offered, product would favor a full contact type pad??

I haven't used the Optimum polishes yet myself but you can be rest assured the LC HT pads will work fine with them. As far as using flat pads vs. ccs I think it will usually come down to preference of the pad to the user regardless of the polish being used. I prefer the flat pads in general and the HT pads specifically.
Use which ever pads you have now if you like them.

I have no real world experience with the two products yet, but I plan on using the Optimum Spray twins as well with all my cars.

Have you watched all the vids with the Optimum products? They are really good. Also use the forum search for Optimum threads. There are few and some reviews of the product which will give you more insight.

Hey Moz,

It may be that none of us have tried the combo.

I have not yet tried either the HT pads or the Hyper Compound Spray. I like Opt's Compound II (non spray) as it does not dust and finishes quite well. Opts Compound II is also not a Hyper Compound and does not have the cut of M105 or even Megs Ultimate Compound. I use CCS and flat orange pads with a PCXP and these are the most aggressive cutting pads that I own.

If I need more cut, I have Megs Ultimate Compound or M105. I too am thinking about trying the HT pads and the OPT Spray polishes and compound but I can't help you more until I try them. Maybe someday, I will buy a rotary and wool pad but I am only a hobbiest at this point.

I hope that helps!

No problem =) Make sure you put up a review of the products when you are able to try it out. I still have a bit of time before I order and try them out. Good luck !

The promo code saved me over $50 and free PB's 16oz SSR2.5 and free Optimum car wax sample.
