My buddy's white Honda needs a clay, polish and wax.

Do you know if the 93's have CC or single stage paint? Paint seems original and needs some TLC.

Thanks!

Tough call, some honda vehicles that year did not have a clear coat but a paint hardener instead. You might want to go on to a honda forum and ask the members over there, i'm sure some one can give you some more helpful advise. Good luck:xyxthumbs:

Hard to say. The easiest way to find out if its SS or BC/CC is to take some compound, polish, or cleaner wax and work it into a section of each panel. If any color is transferred to the applicator, its SS. If not, its BC/CC. You'll want to do each panel to make sure all are the same. Some paint and body shops will use SS paint for repairs when the rest of the car is BC/CC. Since the car is white, use an applicator that is not white for ease of seeing the transfer. A piece of terry cloth is great for this test.

Although our 1990 Honda Accord is BC/CC.

If its Frost White and I'm guessing it is then it does not have a clearcoat.
