I am thinking about getting a blower to dry vehicles after washing and after rain to prevent water spots. I currently do not have a shop vac or a leaf blower, I use a 30 year old roll around vac that refuses to die.

Has anyone used the Metro product line, or use other blowers to dry vehicles that can share their experience? Should I look at a dedicated blower, or would a combo vac/blo be an acceptable solution?

I have a black car (to be detailed this weekend) and it seems like looking at it the wrong way puts spiderwebs on it, no matter how careful I am.

Good news - bad news. My wife is getting me the 8hp unit for Christmas. Unfortunately I have to wait until then.

:wow:Dang 8HP? I have a Shop Vac Hang-Up Mini that is 1.5 HP and it sucks up napkins, quarters and pencils!

No kidding, makes me want to get one. I'll check on my garage outlet and see if it is a 20A.
