A good friend of mine just purchased this as his new shop truck. I will be preforming my New Car Prep Package. This package includes:
Hand wash (2 bucket method)
Paint is sealed (4-6 months of protection)
Exterior trim is treated to protect against fading
Interior is treated to protect against fading
Wheels and exhaust tips are sealed

Now here is a picture of the truck when he got it 2 weeks ago. How much would you guys charge for a truck like this

Are you asking how much would someone charge for that truck?
or

could be two totally different prices depending on how good of a friend he is.....

No clay $175, with clay $200...figure 3.5-4.5 hours of work at $50 an hour with not much chemicals used.

:iagree: I would put that in the same class as a large SUV. Have you asked Mike yet?

I told him $150 minimum...

I also mentioned that to be worthwhile it should probably be clayed.

Working on big rigs like this is a pain and you usually need some kind of work stand to be safe, like you see here...

If you can get more go for it...

local car washes start at $200.00 I start at $240.00 for a one step and go up depending on how many more steps I use on paint
$240.00 includes engine clean
I bought a home depot collapsable scaffold $89.00, adjusts to three different levels

try doing this truck with 20" of lift

That truck doesn't look much bigger than 9" of lift. 35's?

This one only has 16"

the tire is a 40-15.50-22 nitto the lift kit is Keldermann air ride with up to 20" of adjustability

suspension is set to a specific ride height that sensors maintain, has extreme lift position of 20" and extreme low position thats about 6"

truck can only be driven at middle setting due to driveline angles

That is one hell of a setup...the twin reservoirs shocks and air bag system are hard to work with in extreme stuff tho(got a chance to drive a similar setup on an excursion at the mudhole).

So in the pic he is sitting at about 9-10 inches? I'd like to see it at full inflation.

I'm doing a full detail including undercarriage so I'll try to post up pics
yes its about 10-11" at ride height, will post pics at full lift/low positions at next week.
had to remove all shocks to polish, and the diesel exhaust is fully polised as well, diff covers are polished finned aluminum, chrome link arms and sway bars, 9 train air horns and all powder coated suspension brackets

Another instance where charging an hourly rate takes the guess work out of quotes...

3-4 hours of work for inside and out? that thing would take me 3 hours to wash and dry alone. 1 hour to clay. 2-3 hours inside and 1 hour for rims and tips. i would have most of a day in it.
