Invoices?

I was curious to know if anyone generates an invoice of services performed on the vehicles being worked on. I was looking into this out of curiosity, any input would be great.

I do. Mainly because it serves as a reminder to me of what work I've done on a vehicle in the past.

Not only will I know what services to upsell to a particular customer but also if I have to do any heavy buffing on a defect I can look back to see if I have buffed the same area so I don't get too aggressive and cut through the clear coat.
