I just used up the last of my Zaino stash (it took 3 years) and now am looking for a new sealant for my cars (2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2010 Nissan Versa). I typically wax them 3 times a year (March, June, November) and wanted to know what would protect my cars the best. I am looking for the best shine as well as durability. I am thinking about the following:

1. DP Poli coat
2. Blackfire Wet Diamond
3. Collinite Insulator Wax.

I typically add some Lucas Slick Mist spray wax after every ONR wash (about once every two weeks).

Thanks for your Help!

Rejex is another healthy and durable offering, could add the Klasse Twins too.

I believe your most popular answer to this question will be Collinite's #845.

No one has yet mentioned Finish Kare's 1000p. If I were looking for the most durable synthetic sealant, that's the one I would probably choose, excluding the Klasse twins.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned 3M Performance Finish; one of the most durable products I have tried.

For long lasting protection it is still hard to beat, the Klasse Twins topped with Collinite 476.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I decided I am going to run an experiment for winter sealants. I'm putting 7 different sealants to the test on 7 different parts of my car. I want to see how they handle a NE PA winter. My experiment begins soon...

There's a post over on DW where a guy put 50 something sealants on his horse trailer and posted the results.

If I remember right, the Klasse "Twins", Zaino, Wolfgang DGPS and something else won out over everything else applied.

Bottom of his first post states what held up over 4 months.

You can also consider Duragloss 601 before any of the sealants. DG 105 is also durable and inexpensive. DG Aqua Wax is an oh so easy booster wax too! Spray it on while drying!

Which brings up another question. How cold is too cold to use a spray wax or sealant?

Products like ocw, os, upgp?

When its too cold to be outside without a heavy coat its probably too cold. I recall Regex having a narrow band to apply it. I aint gonna be in the garage unless I can get the temp up to at least 55 deg, but Im an old guy!
