Wolfgang triple pack (swirl remover, glaze, sealant)
and drumroll please...Souveran Carnauba Wax

Well, since we have never done this before, we don't have much to compare it to. We weren't thrilled with the tangerine pads. Two of them collapsed in the middle and became concave. They are still indented even after washing and conditioning them.

Great job!!! It's nice to sit back and admire it isn't it? AS for your pads, sometimes the inside will collapse with too much pressure. Is the area basically the same size as the backing plate?

Great job on the detail and im glad you enjoyed it! Little tip for next time, Use some dressing/tire shine in the wheel wells it will help the look!

I have really enjoyed the transformation of the "Maxima Mom and Dad" from 1st time posters to a couple who found time to tackle detailing a car.

Here is a question and I don't remember if either of you mentioned it, but how did you find out about Autogeek, and what made the both of you decide to learn all about keeping your cars detailed? I find it fascinating that you are on this quest now.

It is certainly a very interesting and rewarding way to spend quality time together.

Great job Maxima Mom/Dad, glad to see that you have made it through your first detail. Your namesake car looks great! Now you can start spreading the word about AG in your neighborhood when everyone asks how you keep car so clean!

As far as your pads, it may have been too much product as Mike P suggested. That can really help transfer the heat from the machine to the backing plate right to the center of the pad. That may have helped contribute to the pad center collapsing.

OK I did help but remember I was the one who lifted the spinning DA....I had to work my way back into the line up...the coach was tough...here are some shots to show I did help...

Don we do a lot together, we found AG when looking for a car for our daughter...
we went to see a BMW at a detailer's shop and he mentioned, "claying the paint"...from there Lisa went on line to research clay bars and here we are!....as they say the rest is history....
