So I washed my black car yesterday and didn't see that it wasn't completely dry when I put everything away. Today, I pull the car out in the sun to check it out and it looks perfect! Then out comes the Brinkmann light and I see that some water spots had a day to set in. I QD'd the car and removed what I could but there are still several small water spots left in the finish. Again, they can't be seen without a Brinkmann, not even in bright sun light. They're very light spots. Is there a non-aggressive way to remove these? I'm thinking some 85rd on a gray pad would do the trick, but I don't really want to break out the DA. Any suggestions? Perhaps a paint cleanser?

Try a quick detailer first. If that doesn't work, try a paint cleaner. If you use the paint cleaner, you will have to re-wax afterward.

I tried a QD and a waterless wash........I'll try the paint cleanser. Thanks.
