Hello all,
I've been having problems using the above product. I get streaks on the paint when it rains. I Shake the bottle, apply the product with a foam brush, and wipe off excess with a mf. I understand that it might be a water based dressing but do all products do this? http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs217.ash2/47979_419141587005_515922005_4838594_6268232_n.jpg

Not all exterior trim products streak in the rain. Meguiar's new Ultimate Protectant has great durability in the rain. The trick is to apply it with a foam applicator pad, use a very small amount and work the product into the trim. A little goes a very long way.

Check out this thread at Meguiar's Online for detailed instructions on how to use Ultimate Protectant: How to apply Ultimate Protectant - Car Care Forums: Meguiar's Online (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40559)

Great advice for any topical dressing for modern cars with all their exterior plastic trim.

Thanks Mr. P, but I can't take the credit - I learned this from your former Meguiars coworkers on MOL. I'm just the messenger.
