So a really good friend of mine got a 1984 Buick Grand Nation. The car was repainted at one point or another and still single stage. He got a steal on the car. The paint could look a little better but for what he paid it was in "OK" shape. It has alot of swirls and oxidation on the hood, trunk and roof.

Now I was showing him how to use the Griot Garage DA with 5.5'' Lake Country White pad and Megs SwirlsX then Topped with LNB

Here are some 50/50 shots of the trunk and hood (only got one of the hood)

One day I will end up doing a 1-step polish + wax on the whole car but this is all I did so far.

Working on single stage paints is kind of fun because you can usually get really dramatic before and after shots...

Have fun Shawn...

Thank Mike. This is the second Single Stage I have worked on and the black is much softer and easier to correct

About 20 years ago when I was in high school those were the hot car to have! I remember several guys in my class had them and one had a GNX which was a really cool car!
