Hey guys (and girls)

I'm new to the forum but I've been picking up lots of great tips along the way for the past couple months. I just got a new (to me, it's an 09) G37S coupe in black so I'm learning the hard way about how much upkeep it takes to keep a black car looking clean. Unfortunately the dealership left me with a bunch of swirl marks on the hood so that's my project for this weekend. :autowash: Thanks for the tips I've picked up so far. I look forward to learning more.

Maintaining a black car is a challenge but nothing looks nicer than a black finish polished to show car quality...

Do you have an electric polisher?

@Mike: I don't have an electric polisher as I live in an apartment and don't have an electrical source near the car. I hear there is the potential for using a converter and going off the car's battery. Have you seen this done? Any other suggestions?
