View Full Version : What can I use to remove polish splatter?

I polished my car over the weekend with HD Uno and I'm having a hard time getting off some of the polish that splattered on the roof and hood. I tried wiping it down with IPA and water as well as washing the car and the splatter is still there. Is there a safe, easily obtained solvent that will remove the polish without doing any damage to the paint (single stage black on a 92 Mercedes)? It's now been sitting for a couple of days in the hot sun in So. Cal. and I'm afraid it's getting baked on.

Thanks for any help.

If you have a lot of splatter, you might be better off using HD Uno to remove HD Uno splatter. But you will have to reapply your LSP.
(And be careful not to create more splatter.)
