2010 F-150 super crew 5.5 box. After washing I blewdried the truck with a leaf blower and used the Ultimate Guzzler to dry the car. Let me tell you it's amazing. I was able to dry the whole truck without a problem. Even the grooves on the roof where the water always sits. My only concern is that it is HUGE! Huge to the point of rediculous. The towel material is fantastic but I would much rather use two or three of the smaller towels than the one giant one. I was having difficulty keeping the towel organized and ended up just mashing it together instead of keeping it neatly folded. I think it was a decent purchase. Now I just have to get me some smaller towels.

Pros: Dried 2010 F-150 Super crew with a 5.5 box with ONE towel after blowdrying with leaf blower
Cons: HUGE to the point of being difficult to control
Lesson Learned: the guzzler ww drying towels from cobra are fantastic. but two smaller ones instead of one giant one.

Nice tip. I haven't heard anyone else say anything about the size, but I'll be keeping that in mind if I end up ordering one. I may go with two of the smaller versions.

I fold my Ultimate guzzler up a few times and then it is easier to manage.

:iagree:

I was really surprised that it was that big too. Not that I can;t read or anything because it's right there in black and white. I fold it up and keep flipping it as I go along.

I always 1/4 my guzzler just like any other microfiber I use and then flip side as it gets saturated.

sounds like the medium size one probably would work well for you, the large one is indeed HUGE !

100% AGREE! i HAVE 2 OF THE ONES WITH THE POCKETS. imo THE hd gUZZLER IS THE PERFECT SIZE @ 16" X 24" AND THE FOAM CORE! oNE will do my Expedition and I dont use a leaf blower! Itt is by far the easiest drying towel, I have 6 of them and I never use the big guzzlers anymore!

I have one of the extra large guzzlers with the hand pockets in it and I think it would be PERFECT if the hand pockets were gone. They just make it extra thick on the edges and make it more cumbersome to use. Though I think the size of it is perfect for getting a streak free finish since it sucks every last bit of water away. I have one of the smaller ones (i think 20x40) and that doesn't work nearly as well.

Yeah I don't get the whole pockets thing myself. They don't bother me, I just don't see the need. Like you can't use it that way and keep turning the towel to a dry section.
