How to cure those spots?

hi all,

Please, check for attached pics. :Picture:
I have those spots 5 mm - 10 mm on 10 years old green hood.
I'm not sure that pictures can tell in issue in details, looks like there is no clear coat and some even lost lost some paint already. By the finger touch it's lower / deeper.

What can I do to restore it or make it not so ugly?

If the clear coat is gone there really isn't much you can do then repaint.

From what i can tell from the pictures it looks like clear coat failure as mention by Corey.If the spots are flaking off it's clear coat and if paint is flaking off maybe the hood all ready has been painted before.Either way nothing else you can do except polish around them.

If yes, how to proceed with it to make it even and protect?
