What is the best product for removing pen from interior trim? I tried Optimum Power Clean at full strength and it did not even put a dent in it. Is there any other product that is safe on leather and plastic that will remove the ink?

Is the ink on a plastic part or upholstery?

If it's on plastic I used Isopropyl alcohol and it removed the ink completely. But I have never tried it on fabric.

The ink is on hard textured plastic and GM leather.

Let me check with a neighbor, he specializes in automotive interior repairs. He does amazing work. One time at the Toyota dealership I worked at, one of the clean up guys sliced the leather in a brand new 4Runner with a razor blade during the prep. Steve (neighbor) came to the dealership, repaired the leather and airbrushed it to match, and the only way it was visible was by a florescent lamp directly (within 2") over the area. Anyway, I've seen him remove pen stains and a lot worse.

I've actually watched him use a chemical to remove ink pen. Same dealership, a salesman was showing interior features and decided for some reason to make a 2" long mark on the leather seat? Seen it removed from cloth too. :dunno:

I've had great results using an all purpose cleaner and a Magic Eraser.

Cheapie hairspray - AquaNet. It's the alcohol that does it.

Treat the leather afterwards.
