Mirror Detailing

Got a call mid afternoon about trying if at all possible getting this done today as the owner was heading back up to Virginia tomorrow. Thing was in pretty terrible condition, had never been buffed, severe acid rain and just dirty...but kinda to be expected after driving from Virgina Beach to Georgia. Owner never really believed in getting a car detailed and his son, the customer, finally said he was going to get it done even if he had to pay for it to show him the difference.

The paint was in TERRIBLE condition. Northern car driven a lot washed often...I think. Never been waxed, clayed, etc. Customer wanted just a wash, clay, 1-step and wax. Which is lucky because I only had about 4 hours of day light and with the condition of this thing...it was not going to be a fast job.

Process:

Wash-
CG Citrous Wash'n'Gloss via AG Foam Gun dwelled for 5 mintues x2
TBM w CGWnG
Rims heavily coated with CG Diablo Wheel Gel
Washed twice... lol

Clayed w/ Pinn. Ultra w/ ONR Clay Lube

1-Stepped KBM w/ GG DA w/ LC Orange Pad w/ SIP

Waxed w/ CG Concourse 50/50

How bad was the condition of the paint you might ask? Looked like this across the whole car...

Half and half on the trunk just to see the amount of fade that was in the paint...

Now the owner of the BMW comes down to visit's his son every other month and said to expect a call from him letting me now when he will be down each time then every other visit to probably 1-step the car again. Then maybe planning on getting full correction one of the times he is down here.

Nice turn around! That's just about like the 06 chevy 1500 I did last saturday.
Never been waxed, good amount of fade (still looked dirty after wash), and needed more work then the customer allowed. BUT came out %100 better then before I tackled it. Wish my camera was charged so I could have gotten pics!

Good job sir love your work.

See goes to show you people don't really realize what a swirl is till you show them one gone! Glad you won over another client! Hate to see BMW abused, makes me want to rescue them! :(
