Megs Ultimate Compound has almost the same cut with much less dusting.

I have ultimate compound...It has less dust but from what I remember last time I used it it still dusted a decent bit...maybe I will give it another go next time I need it and see what happens

I just bought Optimum Hyper Compound and Polish Sprays. From early reports, this stuff should cut without dusting.

yea I have the hyper polish and it is almost like zero dusting..I was wondering if the hyper compound was as good and as fast at correction like the 105 is

IMO yes, and it doesn't dry out as fast, way easier to remove, and very little dust, if any. I love it!

What size area are you working on and how many passes do you do per section?

M105 can be finicky, but once I found how to work it, I got less and less dusting with each sectional pass.

With the hyper spray, do you spray the pad or car?

I'm not expert, but my experiences with UC vs 105 were that 105 cut at least twice as fast as UC. I use a little distilled water on the pad once I spread the 105 and also really load the pad with 105...maybe 50% more than you would with UC and I can easily make 6-8 big passes without much dusting. Figured this out doing my 05 F250 long bed crew cab...lots of time to experiment!

i was working an area maybe 10"x10" I was just hitting some deeper scratches..i did 2 passes in that small section and looked like it was snowing in my garage..LOL
I am going to have to get a bottle of the hyper compound and give it a go

I like Menzerna SIP which is a little less abrasive versus 105, but all polishes dust it just seems I can live with the amount their polishes give off.

I spray the pad, and Dr. G(the creator) said this is the best way, but he also said either way works.

ive noticed NO dusting with my 105. if you prime the pad correctly it shouldnt dust too bad. also make sure your pads are CLEAN. a dirty pad is what i have found is 9 times out of 10 the reason for dusting.

ive noticed NO dusting with my 105..

If you have "NO" dusting then you're not using M105.
