Finally got around to polishing the Z. First I washed and clayed (Clay Magic). Then I used Wolf Gang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 on a orange pad. Next I used Wolf Gang Finishing Glaze on a white pad. Last, I used Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant on a blue pad. All work was done with a Griot's RO. I also used sealant on the wheels and used Black Magic Titanium Tire Wet Gel on the tires. For the headlights I used Meguiars Plastx Clear Plastic Cleaner and Polish on a orange pad. This was the first vehicle I've ever polished and I am extremely happy with the results!:buffing: Thought I'd share a few before and after pics...

Nice job! I love the 350z's. Great styling and fit&finish. But they don't have enough GO for me :)

The car came out great! Nice pictures too!

So how long did it take you? Did you find it easier or harder than expected?

my father is a sales manager for local Nissan franchise and its amazing how soft the paint is on the Z's. Often they come in scratched well, and you can see quickly how a good polishing makes such a significant difference. Nice work !

Nice work! Love the Z's. Unique and beautifull. I tend to go for the more unique looking cars that you don't see a 1000 of. When I saw the Sky I was in love and after a couple years finally got one. The 350Z (in blue) and that sporty little Audi (foget the model #) were the only other cars that very briefly crossed my mind but I never went to look at anything but the Sky. Love at first sight!

Thanks!! I love the way it handles, and I'm happy with it's GO! Don't get me wrong, I'd like more!:props:

Thanks! It took me about 2 days. I would start around 9am and finish around 8pm. It wasn't hard at all! Just a lot of work, but well worth it!!

Yeah, that's one thing I can't stand is the paint. My front bumper looks horrible from all the chip marks from rocks and what not.

Thanks! I agree! That's one of the many reasons I chose the Z, its unique look!

I was considering switching to the Wolfgang. How did you like it and how was the working time of the product?

Z's don't have a ton of go, but those seem like bold words from a guy sporting cobalts in his sig :hungry:

This was my first polish so I really don't have anything else to compare to! I found it pretty easy to use and thought the working time was fairly quick. Sorry I couldn't have been more help!
