I have been scouting this porsche as a potential client for over 2 months. pulled into his tire shop today and caught him just as he was entering his ride. blocked him in and asked if he needed a wash. he could not say no cause it is his daily driver, it had rained the previous day, and it was in desperate need of a wash. by the way, i quit my day job and now hit the streets hard everyday getting Showroom Shine Mobile Detailing clientele. before giving the neglected porsche a basic exterior wash/dry, and tire/rim clean/dress i also detailed a repeat client's zo6. how's your showroom shine?? will post pics 2morrow...2 sleepy

yes i have put 2gether a business plan and do have a plan. i have been marketing my services hard for the past 4-5 months. it came to a point where i felt i needed to go full time and devote 100% to maintaining current clientele and finding more. bottom line.. i couldn't keep putting off clients to weekends. it was very limiting to my cash flow from the business. but this talk is for another section in the forum. working on uploading photos.

Blocked him in? Like forced him?

no, not by forced...it was merely coincidence that as i pulled into the parking lot, he was getting into the porsche. so i yelled out the window.."hey, need a wash..he looked and knew he did and said "sure do"

what made this even better was the owner had a covered pad in back to do the work in. it wasnt a hot day, but with a black car, it kept it cool and spot free. i read somewhere that you can distill water by leaving the tank/bottle open, so far results look good. ive just been using the megs world class wash. it works well, lathers great, but the smell is becoming a little bothersome. it smells good, but its becoming too much of a good thing. its almost like a dude with too much aftrshave/cologne on. but its on sale now for 5 bucks.
